As a family, we’ve been farming on the Innermoarhof farm for generations. In 2007, Franz Gruber decided it was time to hand over the running of the farm to his son Gerhard, who’s been at the helm ever since. But that doesn’t mean that Grandpa Franz is totally out of the picture!

When it comes to fruit farming, Gerhard Gruber is well aware of what needs to be done. His orchards extend all the way from the Innermoarhof to the neighbouring village of Saltaus. From where the Hirzer cableway takes hikers, mountain bikers and paragliders up to the high plateau in a matter of minutes.

In 2015, Rosemarie Leimer-Gruber took charge of running the establishment – which includes guest-relations, admin and bringing up their kids: Karolina and Valentin.
