When it comes to outdoor and leisure activities, the Passeiertal Valley has it all. Besides more common sports such as tennis, fly fishing and Nordic walking, there’s also hiking and mountain biking on the slopes of the high mountain pastures beneath the Hirzer.

The Passeiertal Valley offers numerous opportunities for paragliding, river rafting, canyoning and mountain climbing. St. Martin in the Passeiertal Valley is also home to one of the region’s best golf courses.

The cableway station on the Hirzer is the gateway to a hiking haven, from which to explore the seemingly endless high Alpine pastures. Or follow the Waalwege canal trails on leisurely walks lower down in the valley. The paths along the old irrigation channels, which cross the valley, allow the whole family to enjoy the pleasure of relaxing walks in nature.
